The Adventures,Trauma and hope in missions

Last week i was part of the training team that was in Bunda town in the Mara region of the republic of Tanzania.

We had Incredibles moments of training the communities on community health education and children ministry through the use of orality,skits and songs.

As our intaractions went deeper with every passing day of training there was so much to learn and unlearn from both the training and the community being trained.

With about 30 leaders in attendance our hope is that the personal transformation from these leaders will cascade to the communities they hail .

On sad note a young man from the village we were staying went finishing to the adjacent Lake Victoria but unfortunately was taken down by the crocodile .By the time were leaving the town at the end of training the body hadn’t been recovered.It was a traumatic moment for all of us but worse for the immediate family.

Your prayers for the family will appreciated especially the recovery efforts to help bring closure.
